HOW IT WORKS

Pick-4 is a four (4) number draw game offered twice a day by the New Jersey Lottery.

SUMMARY

To play Pick-4, you will choose a play type, four (4) numbers from 0-9 and a wager. For a little more fun, you can include the FIREBALL add-on for more chances to win. Lotto.com also offers the option to enroll your ticket as a subscription so you never miss a game! 

PLAY TYPES

Pick-4 offers you a variety of play types that determine how your chosen numbers are matched against the winning numbers. Each play type has different combinations to win and different prizes based on which combination you match. The following play types are available:

  • Straight

  • Box

  • Wheel

  • Straight/Box

  • Front Pair

  • Back Pair

NUMBER SELECTION

In Pick-4, you choose four (4) numbers from 0-9 and are allowed to select the same number multiple times. These numbers are then scored against the winning numbers to see if they match. In some play types, the numbers can be rearranged, giving you more chances to win.

WAGER

On Lotto.com, Pick-4 can be enjoyed with wagers of $1, $2, $3, $4 or $5. A new wager selection is made for each additional play on the ticket and the amounts wagered for each line can be different. Some play types, including Wheel and Straight/Box, have multiple wagers placed on a single line.

FIREBALL

When added, the FIREBALL number can replace one of the drawn Pick 4 numbers for all play types, giving you more opportunities to win! Adding the FIREBALL option to your Pick 4 ticket doubles the cost of each line and applies to all lines. Prizes for wins using the FIREBALL number differ from regular prizes.

DRAWINGS

Drawings are held twice daily. The midday drawing is held at approximately 12:59 P.M. EST while the evening drawing is at approximately 10:57 P.M. EST. Lotto.com has a cutoff time of one hour before a draw to make sure your ticket is processed in time. If you purchase a ticket after the cutoff time, your ticket will be entered into the following draw.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

Enroll your lucky numbers in a subscription to make sure you are always included in the next draw. Active Pick-4 subscriptions will enter your numbers for both the midday and evening draws, for a total of two ticket orders daily.
